Guy Jouannelle currently provides consulting services to the District of Columbia’s Office of Unified Communications (OUC) managing several programs including the public safety in-building radio coverage program.
An accomplished wireless telecommunications expert, Guy has 30 years of experience providing project management and strategic planning services to the public safety and commercial wireless industries.
While working on behalf of the District of Columbia, Guy led the implementation and operations of the first wireless broadband network dedicated to public safety; he was also responsible for the designs of LTE and P25 public safety networks for other major metropolitan areas across the country and deployment of commercial networks across the globe.
Prior to this position, Guy served as an Executive Partner with Televate, as a VP of Engineering for US Wireless (a start-up dedicated to provide location services), and as a Director of Engineering for France Telecom, Nokia and LCC International. This broad experience across these diverse companies has built his expertise in project management, wireless engineering, applications implementation and network operations as well as given him unique 360 view of the industry.
