NEDAS’ One-Day ‘HetNet’s Race to Connect’ Event on April 1 to be Followed by Full-Day Programs Hosted by Informa on April 2 & 3
MAMARONECK, NY – February 19, 2014 – The Northeast DAS & Small Cell Association (NEDAS), a group of DAS, Small Cell professionals and end-users throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states that fosters learning, networking, socializing, and the sharing of ideas in a mutually supportive environment, announces its cooperation with Informa to promote complementary DAS and Small Cell programs to be hosted in New York City on April 1, 2, and 3, respectively. NEDAS’ one-day ‘HetNet’s Race to Connect’ event commences the week’s agenda on April 1, 2014, followed by Informa’s two-day conference, ‘WiFi and Small Cells North America (WFSCNA), April 2-3.
The NEDAS event on April 1, 2014 will be located at Convene’s Midtown East location at 730 Third Avenue and features a full day program that includes conversations around 5G wireless solutions and carrier coordination, as well as case studies on implementing Small Cell solutions for public safety and network management. The conference will also feature Lightning Talks that cover ‘In-Building Solutions’, ‘What Happens When a Building is Sold’, ‘Future-proofing DAS Systems’ and ‘Wiring Up for the Super Bowl’. NEDAS attendees must register for Informa’s event separately and receive a 15% discount rate.
The 2nd annual WiFi and Small Cells North America will be held at Convene’s Midtown West location at 810 Seventh Avenue. Expert speakers from AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, Time Warner Cable, US Cellular, Telus, Skype, the Wireless Broadband Alliance and the Wi-Fi Alliance, among others, will join 250+ attendees at this two-day, multi-track event to discuss the future of carrier and service provider strategies for augmenting network revenue, capacity and coverage.
