Steven Strickland is the Executive Director of Eastern U.S. Sales at ExteNet; the leading national provider of converged communications infrastructure. He joined ExteNet from GTS, a Georgia-based Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) and communications contractor, where he was the company’s head of business development.
Previously, Steven gained valuable tech sector experience as Vice President of Marketing at Essentia, a managed services provider based in Charlotte, and Sales Manager at NICE, an analytics software company headquartered in Israel. During his time at NICE, Steven worked extensively developing the Latin American territory. He also worked at NCR Corporation for 2 years managing a global product line.
Steven began his professional career at ATT, spending over 10 years in management-level roles across global enterprise solutions, business field services, corporate business development, program management, outside plant engineering and network operations.
Steven holds an undergraduate in business from Oglethorpe University, Master of Science from Georgia Tech and law degree from The University of Georgia. He is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Registered Telecommunications Project Manager (RTPM).
Steven is actively involved in community and civic activities. He is a Planning Commissioner in Oconee County, and sits on the TAG Government Relations Task Force and WIA Workforce Development Committee. Steven advises NEDAS on program content and workforce initiatives.
